As you’ve probably guessed from the name—and the photo above—I am a proud girl dad outnumbered by four amazing ladies (including my wife of 30+ years). It also means I have learned my way around sweets.

Girl Dad Goodies was born from my love of all things dessert: cookies, brownies, cakes. You name it. From ages 15-18, I lived in St. Louis- the birthplace of the legendary gooey butter cake. Those years played a large role in shaping both my love for baking and the memories I still associate with it today.

As a dad, baking has always been about more than sugar and butter. It’s about comfort, connection , and sharing joy- the same kind of joy that’s been a part of raising my girls and making memories with them along the way.

So in an attempt to share those sweet memories with the world, I present to you: Girl Dad Goodies. Desserts approved by three very honest daughters. Every treat made with love, a little nostalgia, and just enough sweetness to keep everyone smiling.
